Gabe Daly

Gabe is an experienced litigator, advisor, and advocate with expertise in a wide range of energy and environmental legal and policy matters.

Prior to joining Roselle, Gabe served as Associate General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Energy. There, he advised the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Energy and the Department’s senior leadership on, among other things, implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act’s clean-energy tax credits, adoption of energy-efficiency standards under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, and the permitting of clean-energy infrastructure.

Prior to his recent service at the Department of Energy, Gabe was an attorney at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where he sued to stop unlawful federal energy and environmental actions—under the APA, NEPA, the ESA, and other federal laws—in district courts and courts of appeals. Early in his career, Gabe also worked as a litigator at a D.C. law firm.

Engelmayer on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge, and a B.A., cum laude, from Harvard College.
